Christmas 2014 & New Years – Koh Lanta

Happy New Year 2015!
Ohhh my, does time slip by when you are busy with this very active family.

We are dialing the time back to Christmas (one of my most favorite times of year). The holiday season was celebrated in Chiang Mai with a big Christmas Eve party, a memorable Christmas day and great quality family time. When the kids are on school break it is so nice to just slow the gears down and chill out together… very cherished times.

(Rudolph found his way here!)

(Our annual afternoon decorating gingerbread houses… always fun and yummy)

(2014 Christmas houses. Trent ate his as fast as he decorated it… there was nothing left at picture time)

~ Christmas Eve ~
(A house full on Christmas Eve. Some of the kids hanging out)

(Over 60 people in our International family stopped by to spread some Christmas Cheer)

~ Christmas DAY! ~
(Merry Christmas grublets, you were all spoiled. This will always be remembered as the Christmas Mama’s box arrived months late)

(Our annual Christmas morning picture… Oh i love these peps)

(The kids were thrilled with their present – A trampoline.   A great project Christmas day… putting together the tramp so everyone could enjoy it)

(Everett working hard with Charlie delegating the jobs)

(All done! Lots of sweat for these smiles)

(Off to Christmas dinner at the Rivermarket… It was sooo good, we were in heaven with bacon wrapped scallops)

(Love living in the tropics… Christmas night having a sleepover on the tramp. So great to be a kid)

~ HAPPY NEW YEAR …
Here we come 2015
~

For New Years we celebrated with the kids by going for supper and a movie. January 1st. 2015 we boarded the over night train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok for our fun adventure.

~ DreamWorld – Bangkok (it was interesting) ~
(Easton in his weekend look)

(Emma and I made a new friend, she was pretty funny. She told the joke…
Why did the skeleton play the piano?
Because she didn’t have any organs!

(LOVE this. Who said Thais don’t have a sense of humor. These signs were placed all over the amusement park to notify customers where the toilets were located… so cute)

(One of the scariest rides I have ever been on. The kids loved every minute of it going on multiple times)

~ To the beach we go. Koh Lanta was beautiful ~
Press PLAY to tap your toes to the fun music!

~ WARRIOR RACE…
10 km… 20 obstacles…

One AWESOME family ~
(Family who plays together Stays together)

(these guys are tough enough!!!) Everett. Amy. Sara. Em
(Lets Do This!!)
(Ev and East tackling one of the first 10ft. tall walls)
(Easton was one of the very few who conquered the toughest obstacle)
(I made it past the tires but lost all my steam at the rings… next race!)
(Ev nearing the finish. He would have made it across if Easton did not shake the ropes)
(The very last obstacle – a killer on the knees and crazy thick mud. Oh ya, my hair also got caught in the barbwire    🙂
(We did it …. a sprained ankle, an extra 2 km off the route and way more obstacles than 20. Until next race participants!!!) Very proud of you all!
(YES I am tough Enough… WHOOO)
(Our tennis family. A fun tournament with some amazing matches. I have learned so much for everyone)
(A celebration of a big 60th birthday of a dear friend Lorna Jackson. It was a fun night with some of the Chiang Mai ladies)
(Trent away in Phuket at a ball hockey tournament, Emma in Bangkok to see One Direction with her friends – me and the Boys went to the lake to play….)

(A perfect playground for boys)

Spring is on its way and this is when we start making plans for the summer. We will be back to Canada yet again as we have a special wedding to celebrate.

Thanks for joining this crazy journey we call “our life”…

Until next time and to be honest – who knows when that will be..haha..

Much love….
