Chapter 6. Istanbul Turkey

Nomads just over a month.

* We have slept in over 20 different beds through 6 vastly different and exciting countries so far. Thrilled to report no one has lost their mind yet πŸ˜‰ To be honest the kids have been super stars, they are adjusting amazingly, getting along and really enjoying eachothers company. I looked at them the other night teary at what awesome human beings they are, I really like hanging out with them as people (not just because they are my kids πŸ˜‰ Having this enormous amount of time together we are REALLY getting to know the ins and outs of eachother and it is pretty cool. 8-|

* Dubai was a wild whirlwind at seeing the sites and enjoying the smooth, pot hole free roads and true to our kids they were thrilled to have a Tim Hortons (crazy canucks)

* Istanbul, Turkey was spent eating the delicious food, nursing my twisted ankle (I went over on my bad one again like an idiot in the middle of the street πŸ™ ) and listening to Emma express how mad she was at the idea that woman have to cover themselves in a mosque and the men do not. Love her equality stance!! The architecture is gorgeous.

* Athens & Santorini, Greece – AMAZING! We are traveling on a very slim budget and the donairs/pita wraps are our favorite food. We can all eat for $12.00, music to Trent’s ears πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ The history lessons and ancient ruins are better than I could have imagined.

The weather has increasingly got colder and one of the kiddos said “I think we could die of hypothermia” (it is a freezing 13ΒΊC) haha.

The journey continues…. Much love!
